The Newman Family went to California for Spring Break. We had a great time! It was warm and wonderful! This first collage is the stops we made on the way down. We stopped at the St. George Temple visitor's center, where we had heard (from LaNae Call's blog) that there was a great scultpure exhibit at the visitor's center. We got there 5 mins. before closing and begged them to let us see the sculptures. They were very incredible. The sculpture is Angela Johnson (I think) she used to be an opera singer and then one day took up sculpting for the heck of it, and found that she had a talent for it. (Where was I that talent day in Pre-mortality?).
We also stopped in the ghost town of Calico. Not as impressive. But it was fun to get out of the car and play around.

I didn't know you could take pictures of the sculptures. I might have to get copies of them if that is o.k. We're glad you had fun, but we're also glad you're back. We always miss you when you're away.
