It is Official!

As of 2:24 am (here in the US) we are now "officially" the proud parents of 7 new children! We passed in the Ethiopian court! We now have to have the papers processed and sent to the US embassy for processing. (this could take up to a month, but hopefully faster!) Then Kelly and I will travel to Ethiopia to bring them home!

I just got home from spending about 10 days with them and I am so in love! They are beautiful and good! My heart is stretched across the world and I can't wait to unite my family!

From Left to Right (Top) Faith Fatiya (3), Sultan Isaiah (10), Tayiba Joy (11), 2nd row Chaltu Charity (14), Gabriel Bona (5), Gideon Ramadan (6), Dibabe Hope (16)

We are so excited and racing to get ready!

I know that the adoption timeline feels like the gestational peroid of an elephant...so to be this close is super exciting!

I have a new book for you-I'm still previewing it but so far I love it-, tons to talk to you about- even Kelly too if he wants- so if there is even a minute before you head back across the world, give me a call. I promise to be only semi-overwhelming ;)

You are in my prayers as you embark on this big thing. The blessings are huge and worth all the work.

I love you
Kim

Cherish-
I have been thinking about you. I am so happy you passed court before the colsure. It has made such a huge difference having them stay open the month of August. We still have not gotten our referral - but hope to hear something during the closure and then get a cout date for sometime in Oct/Nov.
Your children are beautiful. (I have yet to see an Ethiopian who is not) It looks like you had a wonderful time. I would love to talk to you about your trip/flight etc. It you get a chance give me call.

Congratulations!!
